Best place in Sherman hands down. It was great before. They're revitalizing it though to be something amazing and it's worth a visit! Follow their socials for all the things going on! Fried green tomatoes are spicy and delicious, summer salad is very refreshing, and the wings are amazing. I tried the new cucumber mule cocktail and loved it. Slamming jamming burger is amazing too.... Nothing else like it!

LOVE the new Post! To be very honest, me and my husband would not come to the old Iron Post because it wasn’t very good. The changes are noticeable and the food is GREAT! If anyone hasn’t tried this place, or hasn’t come back because of their first experiences—give it a try!! Promise you will be satisfied.

First time visiting here. The food was good, the atmosphere was great and the history is A-mazing! We arrived well past 9pm, so we literally had the enitre place to ourselves. The server was super chill and laid back. He's the one who gave us an actual "history menu" to read. The nachos are Amazing and the homemade fries are crisp and crunchy with very good seasonings. The bar is ABSOLUTELY HUGE. Well worth coming here just to see the size of it. I am a VERY intuitive person and I IMMEDIATELY felt the presence of "past energy" in this place, which I find SUPER cool (see pics to make your own call about that). The staff was welcoming and laid back despite they were about to close and understood we were super hungry. I really appreciated this that they didn't push us out or tried to hurry us in anyway at all. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here again, they have brunch available and because we had such a cool experience here, we have no problem making the 45 min drive back up here to just to eat. Highly recommend and a MUST SEE here when you hit Sherman.

I was staying in town for work and decided to have dinner here before heading back to my hotel. The restaurant is located in the heart of Sherman and by the time I went the city was cleared out for the day so it made parking close by easy. I was able to walk right in and sit down to take in the atmosphere and listen to some great music before I ordered the honey hot chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. My server was wonderful and very friendly which is always appreciated. My food was brought out quickly and the chicken itself was just amazing. The fries were great as they put cinnamon on them instead of salt which is a nice touch. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this great spot with great food.

The atmosphere was enjoyable. We had lunch outside. The smash burger & sweet potato fries were delicious. My husband had the Greek salad. He said it was great. Great service as well. We will definitely be back!

So, I’ve read reviews of all sorts of restaurants, but have never left one myself. After eating here, I told myself that I’m going to post about my experience here. I had Asian Pear Caprese to start. Wow did it set a set a bar for me, and what I expect the next time I order something similar from anywhere else. Next I had there Cauliflower steak... de-freaking-licious. I had the opportunity to chat with the head chef. Super awesome dude. The staff was wonderful and patrons social. Come visit this spot and try something that you wouldn’t usually order. The chef knows what he’s doing.

So excited for the revamp this restaurant got when new owners came in. If you tried it a while ago, come back!! Absolutely delicious menu and everything we have ordered has been so fresh and beyond our expectations! Don't get me started on their nachos and wings.... we can't get enough! Management and staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome right away and at home while you dine. The true gem of downtown Sherman in the most historic building there!

Super cool spot with some awesome food. The vibe is awesome and the people are so nice. Y'all get in there and have a beer or food. Kids are welcome and it's a fun spot for the whole family.
